Job Summary

  • Horatio Limited seeks a highly experienced Project Manager to lead a critical upcoming project.
  • This position demands strategic oversight, leadership, and a strong background in civil engineering project execution, with strict adherence to timelines, budgets, and safety and quality standards.
  • The Project Manager will be responsible for every phase of the project, ensuring its successful completion and meeting stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Conduct project feasibility studies and risk assessments to ensure realistic timelines and budgets.
  • Set up project milestones, and oversee scheduling to ensure critical deadlines are met.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, track expenses, and maintain profitability.
  • Oversee cost estimation, financial forecasts, and contract negotiation with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Implement cost-saving strategies and monitor budget adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate project teams, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and vendors for efficient project execution.
  • Hold regular project team meetings, status updates, and progress reviews.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, upper management, and key stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver project reports, presentations, and updates for stakeholders.
  • Address concerns promptly and ensure client satisfaction by maintaining high standards.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes to meet engineering and safety standards.
  • Perform regular site inspections to ensure construction is in line with project plans and quality expectations.
  • Resolve on-site issues promptly to avoid project delays.
  • Enforce compliance with industry safety regulations, environmental policies, and company standards.
  • Oversee site safety audits, enforce safety protocols, and ensure proper documentation.
  • Address any compliance issues promptly to mitigate risks.
  • Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation plans, and adapt strategies to changing conditions.
  • Regularly assess project progress against risk factors and implement corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field with COREN.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management with successful delivery of 3+ large-scale projects.
