Responsibilities
- Maintening all valve types (including but not limited to BDVs, SDVs, PSVs, manual valves, actuated valves)
- Collaborate with onshore maintenance planning team and technical resources to effectively implement valve maintenance routines and analyze data to evaluate program effectiveness.
- Responsible for maintaining a valve reliability program.
- Coordinate overall valve maintenance, sparing and replacement needs across the facility.
- Use measuring and test equipment
- Ability to purchase special parts equipment or vendor services
- Assemble, test, and troubleshoot valves and other equipment per applicable codes and standards per manufacturer and/or customer requirements.
- Operate diagnostic equipment EVT, AVK, Hydroset
- Perform calibration of measurement equipment in accordance with internal quality procedures
- Build prototypes for physician demonstration
- Initiate ECRs (Engineering Change Request)
- Fits, aligns, calibrates, and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements
- Live on-site testing utilizing an assist lift device (AVK)
- On-site servicing of steam safety relief valves.
Profile
- A High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required.
- Diploma in instrumentation, electrical, electrical or mechanical engineering technology.
- 6+ Working experience and professional experience
- Previous field experience in an offshore environment
- Strong knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within valve maintenance
- Mechanical aptitude along with specific technical training on valves and valve repair is an asset.
- Specific health and safety certifications will be determined by job requirements
- Standard and emergency first aid
- H2S Alive
- FPSO experience is a MUST.
- International experience in Nigeria, Africais a plus
- Experience working effectively in a multicultural team.
