Job Description
- The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages and drinks in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner. They are key to creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers and ensuring exceptional service per the Company standards.

Responsibilities
Beverage and Food Preparation:
- Prepare and serve various hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, according to standardized recipes.
- Ensure food items such as pastries, snacks, or sandwiches are presented neatly and served fresh.
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all items served.
Customer Service:
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders with a positive attitude.
- Provide menu suggestions and answer customer questions about ingredients and preparation methods.
- Handle customer complaints or inquiries politely and resolve issues promptly.
Hygiene and Cleanliness:
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including counters, machines, and utensils.
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation.
- Conduct regularcleaning of equipment and the café area to meet hygiene standards.
Inventory and Supplies:
- Monitor stock levels of coffee, milk, syrups, and other supplies.
- Notify management of low stock or equipment maintenance needs.
- Assist in restocking shelves and organizing storage areas.
Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Support other team members when needed, including assisting with opening or closing duties.
- Attend team meetings and training sessions to improve skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a barista is mandatory.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering quality service.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Capability to lift and carry items up to 15 kg (e.g., coffee supplies or equipment).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Work Hours
- Flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
