Description

KYC analysts are essential members of project teams, and their key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring compliance with legislation, regulations, policies, and Customer Due Diligence requirements, including verifying the source of wealth and beneficial ownership on an ongoing basis.
• Collaborating with the Compliance department and senior management within supported business units.
• Building and maintaining professional relationships with business functions to facilitate effective cooperation, communication, and promote higher regulatory standards and awareness.
• Overseeing the onboarding process for new clients and implementing process improvements to enhance the client experience.
• Participating in control testing to ensure procedures remain effective.
• Re-assessing client risk categorization.
• Reviewing Know Your Customer (KYC) due diligence, including Politically Exposed Persons and Adverse Media screening.
• Responding promptly and professionally to ad hoc query reviews.
• Managing and updating client files.
• Assisting with client management to ensure smooth account operations.
• Ensuring adherence to relevant policies and processes.
• Providing ongoing review and refresh support, handling general queries to support the Account Management team.
• Coordinating with account managers, back office, and front staff regarding account reviews and updates.
• Contributing to the development, testing, and implementation of new systems and processes as required.

Qualification and Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar Compliance re-review or remediation role, preferably in an FX firm, consumer lending business, or retail bank.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to build trustful and collaborative relationships across the business.
• Proficient in IT skills, including internet, email, word processing, and spreadsheets.
