About the Job

In collaboration with the HR Business Partner, this role supports the implementation of the HR strategy within the business. Responsibilities include preparing analysis and materials for HR processes such as FRC and annual salary reviews, providing support to line managers, and serving as the designated Business Partner for specific groups.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assist in executing the annual HR strategy agenda aligned with the functional plan.
  • Support the Plant HRBP in recruiting non-cadre staff.
  • Maintain personnel administration and records for the site, ensuring timely delivery, accuracy, and legal compliance, particularly for annual social statements and individual contracts.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of HR systems and policies in accordance with best practices.
  • Collaborate with the Head of HR Industrial and Plant HRBP to identify areas for improvement to enhance organizational and people performance.
  • Coach and support supervisors to effectively manage their teams in alignment with people plans, including performance management.
  • Assist in generating HR data reports and analysis to meet both routine and ad-hoc organizational needs.
  • Support employee and industrial relations management at the plant, offering guidance and assistance to the Plant HRBP.
  • Manage relationships with statutory bodies and trade associations in the local area, as coordinated with the Plant HRBP and Head of HR Industrial/IR.
  • Assist the Plant HRBP in the implementation of policies to foster effective employee and industrial relations.
  • Provide support on employee and industrial relations issues to ensure a harmonious work environment.
  • Work with the Head of HR Industrial/IR and Plant HRBP to resolve any industrial relations crises.
  • Offer support to the Plant HRBP during salary negotiations.
  • Manage projects under the guidance of the Plant HRBP as required.
  • Monitor the social climate at the plant and provide regular feedback to the Plant HRBP and Head of HR Industrial/IR.
  • Collaborate with and provide support to other roles within the O & HR function as needed.

What We Are Looking For

  • A graduate in any discipline, preferably in the Social Sciences.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in an HR BP or generalist role, with evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
  • Strong influencing and coaching skills.
  • Solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
  • Project management capabilities.
  • Adaptable and flexible with a willingness to embrace change.
