Job Description

Job Purpose

The POS Technician is responsible for the repair, support, and maintenance of Point of Sales (POS) terminals and related devices. This role involves ensuring the proper functioning of all POS terminals (Linux, Android, Mpos, and Kiosk) across our distribution network.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the hardware department to manage the end-to-end repair process.
• Provide second-level support for hardware-related issues.
• Oversee and coordinate Terminal Repair Centers within the network.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.

Requirements

• A minimum of a B.Sc. or HND in a relevant field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in English.
• Technical skills to repair PAX, Aisino, Smartpeck, and Topwise Terminals.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Self-motivated and able to take initiative.
• Strong relationship-building skills and emotional intelligence.
• Experience in the Agency banking business is a plus.
• Must reside in Gombe State.
