Job Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing new architectures, optimizing, and upgrading core switches and related services, both centrally and at bank locations.
Report to the Head of Switch and Application and collaborate with partner banks to ensure the core switch infrastructures are well-maintained and effectively managed, delivering secure payment services to customers.
Provide support to the Lead Switch Engineer in planning, prioritizing, executing upgrades, addressing fix requests, or making minor improvements related to Switch Infrastructure and Services at both the headquarters and disaster recovery sites.
Assist in the implementation, activation, and ongoing support of all SwitchIT partners and merchants.
Work with the Lead to manage full-service delivery, ensuring adequate system capacity, timely renewal plans for outdated or at-risk technology, and that service level agreements (SLAs) for switching services and payment products reliant on the Core Switch are met or exceeded.
Ensure the Core Switch and all its interfaces function optimally, maintaining high availability of the Core Switch, switching products, and their interfaces.
Submit requests for operations and enhancements related to the core switch and its interfaces.
Requirements:
- Experience in managing E-Channels Support, ATM Support, Core Banking Support, User Support, and Systems Administration for both Windows and Linux platforms, as well as Database Administration.
- Hands-on experience configuring, deploying, and maintaining enterprise-grade switches.
- Previous experience working in a financial services institution.
