Job Overview
We are looking for a Growth Product Manager to drive and execute strategies that boost customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. This role combines product management, data-driven growth, and close collaboration with the Marketing and Sales teams. You will leverage tools like CDPs, attribution systems, behavioral analytics, and CRMs to enhance the customer experience and unlock sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will develop growth-driven features, such as referral programs, onboarding improvements, and loyalty initiatives, to increase user adoption and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the Kuda Business growth roadmap, ensuring it aligns with the company’s OKRs, while defining a clear vision to scale the business.
- Lead a cross-functional team of engineers and designers, fostering collaboration to execute high-quality growth initiatives.
- Develop and implement data-driven growth strategies to boost customer acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention for Kuda Business.
- Monitor and optimize growth metrics to guide product decisions, identify performance gaps, and provide insights to the executive team.
- Identify, create, and improve growth-focused features aimed at enhancing customer adoption and lifetime value.
- Implement and refine growth and attribution tools, like Mixpanel, Segment, and Iterable, to measure and improve acquisition and engagement efforts.
- Design and conduct A/B tests, personalization strategies, and growth experiments using data and user insights to enhance feature adoption and customer engagement.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Growth, or related fields, with a proven record of delivering impactful product changes.
- Strong expertise in defining and executing product strategies that align with growth and user engagement objectives.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to take a product from ideation to execution.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and balance competing demands.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product development frameworks.
- A passion for user experience, with the ability to interpret customer insights and data to inform decisions.
- Deep understanding of growth experimentation, including A/B testing and iterative product development.
- Solid understanding of the mobile ecosystem and its impact on growth.
- Experience working with behavioral analytics platforms like Mixpanel and Amplitude.
- Proficiency in using growth tools such as Segment, LaunchDarkly, or Appsflyer to optimize customer acquisition and engagement.
- Highly adaptable with a curiosity-driven mindset, eager to experiment, learn, and continuously improve strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Experience in building or working with CRM, CDP, or Data Platforms.
- Previous experience in the Fintech industry.
- Strong understanding of African markets.
- A passion for enhancing user experience and optimizing customer journeys.
- A drive to build a scalable and impactful product.
