Job Summary
As a Strategy Associate at Ardova Plc, you will play a key role in supporting the development and execution of strategic initiatives aligned with the company’s goals. Your work will involve conducting research, performing analyses, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to uncover new opportunities and enhance operational efficiency, all contributing to Ardova’s mission to drive Africa’s energy sector forward.
Job Details
Strategy & Analysis:
- Assist in creating and refining strategic plans for both short- and long-term objectives.
- Perform basic financial modeling and market research to back up data-driven decisions.
Market Research & Insights:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret market data, industry trends, and competitive intelligence.
- Present research findings clearly for internal stakeholders to use in decision-making.
Project Coordination:
- Work with various teams to support the implementation of strategic projects.
- Monitor progress, communicate updates, and address any challenges that arise.
Opportunity Exploration:
- Investigate potential business development opportunities and partnerships.
- Assist in due diligence, feasibility studies, and providing actionable recommendations.
Team Collaboration:
- Partner with senior strategists, offering analytical support and new perspectives.
- Contribute to a culture of ongoing learning, innovation, and collaboration within the Strategy Division.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- 1 – 2 years of experience in consulting, finance, or strategy roles (oil & gas exposure is a plus).
- Familiarity with data analysis and/or project management is an asset.
Technical/Professional Competencies:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong skills in analysis, research, and communication.
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Curious and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly attentive to detail with a proactive approach.
