Job Overview

As an Account Manager at Cisco, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets for Cisco in West Africa and MEA, while building strong relationships with senior customer leaders. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead sales initiatives and cross-functional teams to drive sales growth in West Africa, aligning with MEA-TRC and EMEA strategies.
  • Drive transformation by engaging in account planning, value-based selling, and surpassing booking targets while optimizing OPEX and leveraging market insights.
  • Implement Cisco’s vision for customers, adapting to market trends and encouraging collaboration across teams and regions.
  • Inspire teams, foster talent development, and promote innovation to contribute to Cisco’s long-term success.
  • Take a leadership role in advancing Cisco’s market share in Kenya and Nigeria.

You will join Cisco’s MEA and CIS sales team, which is composed of skilled sales professionals, including Account Managers, Pre-Sales, and Technology Specialists. Minimum Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in technology sales.
  • The candidate must be based in Nigeria.

  • Proven experience in selling technology solutions across areas like Networking, Security, Collaboration, Data Center, Software, and Services.
  • Demonstrated success in territory sales and managing commercial accounts.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and negotiation skills.
