The Journey
- Launch grocery retail stores from the ground up in your city.
- Oversee and manage grocery retail stores, continuously improving i) functionality, ii) service levels to meet Customer Experience goals, while focusing on iii) growth.
- Manage staffing plans, schedules, quality initiatives, and process improvements necessary to support operations.
- Lead a team of Supervisors, ensuring smooth operations across shifts in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
- Set clear expectations and requirements for Retail Store Managers, Supervisors, and Pickers.
- Monitor performance through metrics, provide feedback, and hold Retail Store Managers and Supervisors accountable for their teams’ performance.
- Proactively share best practices across all Retail Stores and shifts.
- Collaborate with teams such as HR, Category Management, Finance, Facility Contractors, Safety, and LiveOps to implement initiatives that will drive retail store growth.
- Oversee the maintenance of health and safety standards in the working environment.
- Achieve stock accuracy targets.
- Continuously assess departmental goals, work processes, available labor, and production goals on a daily basis.
- Improve quality, eliminate errors, and reduce business costs.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) on a weekly basis.
- Perform administrative duties and additional functions as required by management.
- Ensure positive P&L results.
What You Will Bring To The Ride
- A proven track record in a high-volume, fast-paced grocery chain, distribution, or logistics environment.
- 3-5 years of experience in retail management, leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in both the local language and English.
- Experience with Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques is preferred.
- An empathetic, inclusive, and curious attitude.
