About the Job

This role entails full accountability for the performance and maintenance of BCMix systems and equipment, ensuring seamless integration with other digital business systems such as FireQ, SAP, and LogOn. You will lead BCMix upgrades and improvement initiatives while exemplifying strong leadership in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and Diversity & Inclusion (D&I). A key responsibility is promoting and embedding HSE and D&I practices within the function.


Key Responsibilities

Health & Safety

  • Maintain all associated equipment in a safe condition.
  • Conduct regular Visual Plant Checks (VPC) across RMX plants/offices to assess HSE compliance, providing documented reports.
  • Report all incidents, VPC findings, and near misses.
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for incidents within your scope of work.

BCMix Core Responsibilities

  • Address inconsistencies in BCMix software, especially during batching/production.
  • Update and back up BCMix database files for all plants.
  • Regularly monitor interface systems to ensure successful file transfers (including resolving failed files) to the ERP system.
  • Ensure BCMix Server uptime and coordinate with the central team during scheduled maintenance.
  • Manage OTC requests, ensuring proper approvals and reconciliations, addressing causes such as network issues, system failures, or maintenance activities.
  • Oversee the rollout of new applications, conducting thorough end-to-end regression tests.
  • Align with the central team on BCMix updates, software introductions, and business improvements.
  • Generate monthly BCMix error reports and KPIs for the RMX business.

SAP and IT Support

  • Assist sales admin with delivery reconciliations and ensure smooth end-of-month activities.
  • Support procurement in resolving issues with purchase orders and scheduling agreements across RMX plants.
  • Aid the quality department in addressing mix creation, optimizations, material properties, and integration issues.
  • Reconcile inventory for all plants monthly, resolving failed consumption/reception reports and pending idocs.
  • Support logistics in addressing fleet, vendor, or supplier issues for RMX plants.

Electrical and Instrumentation Support

  • Resolve electrical and instrumentation issues across all plants.
  • Participate in plant installations and commissioning for new or renovated plants.
  • Ensure monthly plant calibrations and provide necessary support.
  • Assist in plant modifications to improve performance.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related disciplines.
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in automated plants or production lines, particularly in Readymix concrete.
  • Strong expertise in industrial automation, electrical technology, and IT.
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication.
  • Knowledge of PLC systems (preferably Schneider), including setup, connection, program uploads/downloads, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to interpret and modify electrical diagrams.
  • Proficiency in connecting, replacing, and managing PLC-connected equipment, with supervisory experience for electricians during installations.
  • Basic proficiency in PC and Windows environments to perform plant-level operations.
  • Experience with database installation (e.g., Sybase) and basic database operations.
