Job Summary

  • The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for the overall operational performance of the company. This role will require a strategic thinker with a strong operational background to lead and manage the company’s day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient production, distribution, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement the company’s operational strategy, aligning with the overall business objectives.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and partnerships to drive growth.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee all operational functions, including production, quality control, packaging, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, food safety regulations, and environmental compliance.
  • Optimize operational processes and systems to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of professionals.
  • Recruit, hire, and develop talented individuals to strengthen the team.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and empower team members to take ownership.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the operational budget.
  • Monitor financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Supply Chain Management:

  • Manage the procurement of raw materials and packaging supplies.
  • Optimize the supply chain to minimize costs and ensure timely delivery.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and distributors.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and maintain rigorous quality control procedures.
  • Ensure product consistency and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Conduct regular quality audits and inspections.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Advanced Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Food Science, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in leading operations in the food and beverage industry.
  • Deep understanding of water treatment, bottling, and packaging processes.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Financial acumen and understanding of budgeting and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., ERP systems, quality management software).
