Job Overview:
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a passionate individual who can transform data into actionable business insights. The ideal candidate will be adept at creating dashboards, performing analysis, and offering strategic recommendations to support decision-making. They will have proficiency in the necessary tools for their area of expertise and ensure that the business fully understands the impact of new products or processes. This role involves working closely with various departments within the company and requires strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the bridge between Growth Analysts and Data PMs, providing data-driven insights to marketing and product teams on retention, churn, user engagement, transactions, etc., to guide key decisions.
- Recommend strategies for improving key performance metrics across the user funnel based on data analysis.
- Own the entire analytics process—from defining success metrics to generating insights, building hypotheses, and creating impactful dashboards and reports.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, product, support, and engineering teams to understand their analytics needs and measure the impact of existing features, product changes, and marketing campaigns.
- Work with the business to identify reporting needs and establish key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Analyze data from primary and secondary sources and present findings through clear and concise dashboards.
- Assist in developing and maintaining data structures and databases.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Over three years of experience working as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist.
- Ideally, experience in FinTech or with consumer-facing mobile products.
- Proven experience working with cross-functional teams and effectively communicating technical findings to stakeholders.
- Proficient in SQL or Python.
- Strong skills in Excel.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Google Data Studio, or other BI tools.
- Familiarity with analytical platforms like Google Tag Manager, Firebase, BigQuery, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Appsflyer, and similar tools.
- Knowledge of machine learning, predictive modeling, ETL development, data integration, and data warehousing is a plus.
- Ability to analyze and solve data-related issues effectively.
- A strong grasp of attribution techniques for web and mobile apps, including tools like UTM parameters and MMPs.
- Excellent communication, research, and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail, creativity, and critical thinking, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- A commercial mindset, with the ability to translate data into business insights.
