Position Overview
Our client, a leading integrated fraud and compliance platform serving financial institutions and fintech, is looking for a Digital Media & Marketing Associate to take on a pivotal role in content development, podcast production, video editing, YouTube management, and social media marketing. This individual will be responsible for creating engaging visual and written content for platforms like LinkedIn, YouTube, and email newsletters, supporting event marketing efforts, and overseeing the production of the company’s podcast and video series.
This is a full-time, hands-on opportunity for someone with strong storytelling skills, a keen eye for design, and technical expertise in video production, writing, graphic design, and digital marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Graphic Design:
- Design visually appealing posts for LinkedIn, infographics, event banners, and other digital marketing assets in line with the organization’s branding.
- Develop marketing materials for webinars, roundtables, and industry events, such as flyers, brochures, and presentation decks.
- Create and maintain product guides, whitepapers, and onboarding materials for the sales and customer success teams.
- Transform in-depth content (articles, reports, webinars) into easily digestible formats for social media, including videos and infographics.
Video Production & Editing:
- Produce and edit short-form videos for LinkedIn and YouTube, including expert interviews, product explainers, and customer testimonials.
- Design animated explainer videos and motion graphics for marketing campaigns.
- Manage post-production for event recap videos, promotional trailers, and product demos.
- Collaborate on scriptwriting for videos, podcasts, and product explainers.
- Oversee the production of the company’s podcast and video series, including scheduling, recording, and editing.
- Assist with scriptwriting, storyboarding, and planning for each episode.
- Optimize video and podcast content to enhance engagement across LinkedIn, YouTube, and other platforms.
Social Media Management:
- Manage the organization’s LinkedIn profile, ensuring consistent posting and active engagement with the community.
- Oversee and optimize the company’s YouTube channel, ensuring content is properly categorized, tagged, and optimized for SEO.
- Create thumbnails, write video descriptions, and develop keyword strategies to maximize the reach of videos.
- Analyze YouTube video performance metrics and provide insights for optimizing future content.
- Conduct research into industry trends, competitor marketing tactics, and best practices for audience engagement.
- Track and analyze performance metrics for blog content, newsletters, and social media campaigns to refine marketing strategies.
Event Marketing & Support:
- Assist in organizing and executing webinars, roundtables, and closed-door sessions, ensuring effective branding and promotion.
- Design and coordinate event-related materials, such as invitations, registration pages, and post-event reports.
- Support marketing efforts for the company’s compliance-focused events and industry engagements.
Digital Marketing:
- Plan and execute digital media marketing campaigns that align with the overall marketing strategy.
- Implement lead generation tactics through digital channels, including social media campaigns, email marketing, and content marketing.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in the company’s marketing strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software.
- Strong video editing skills using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Experience with YouTube content optimization (SEO, thumbnails, playlists, engagement strategies).
- Experience with podcast production and video content creation.
- A proven track record in managing responsibilities similar to those listed above.
- Familiarity with social media management, especially on LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Basic knowledge of email marketing platforms like Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar tools.
- Experience in marketing for fintech, compliance, or SaaS industries is a plus.
