Position Overview:

This role is key to driving the growth of our channel commercial execution pillars within the Franchise. It involves solving complex business challenges that span multiple regions, bottlers, and the entire value chain. A deep subject matter expertise, a solid understanding of system value drivers, and advanced analytical skills are essential for success. The role requires exceptional skills in information and situational analysis to facilitate timely, well-informed decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Franchise in developing and executing channel commercial strategies that align with growth pillars.
  • Own the channel plan, ensuring it aligns with commercial strategy across various categories, including targets, pricing, promotions, and product offerings.
  • Track key performance indicators such as Share of Visible Inventory, Share of Cold Visible Inventory, Net Sales Revenue, and Volume.
  • Ensure effective strategy deployment for prioritized customers within the PFM channel, aligning bottlers in negotiations over terms and conditions.
  • Lead category deep-dives across channels, leveraging the broader system to develop and execute action plans.
  • Manage portfolio relevance, collaboration levels, and define interactions with Coca-Cola and bottlers.
  • Guide customer integration in relevant channel accounts, supporting bottlers with customer management and alignment with the channel plan.
  • Lead capability-building initiatives within bottlers, defining curricula, tools, processes, and routines to expand value relationships and foster innovation.
  • Oversee multiple channel projects, ensuring timely execution and alignment with broader goals.
  • Define, track, and adjust the channel plan to ensure alignment with commercial strategies and capitalize on marketing assets.
  • Align bottler and customer plans with the overall channel strategy, tracking progress and ensuring performance-based outcomes.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the CMF by bringing a long-term, strategic vision to collaborative efforts with bottlers.
  • Assess and define customer capability-building efforts in alignment with bottlers and business units, strengthening value relationships with key customers.
  • Foster a strong execution focus by engaging bottlers in operational excellence.
  • Conduct investment analysis to optimize ROI on commercial initiatives, particularly around Cold Drink investments.
  • Drive higher ROI by ensuring productivity gains in cold drink operations.
  • Innovate new processes and solutions to manage the growing complexity of sub-channel approaches and categories.
  • Leverage technology to modernize channel operations and create a competitive advantage, collaborating with the Commercial Execution Lead.
  • Define and implement new processes, products, and commercial solutions to address complex business needs in areas like cooler models, procurement, and placement.
  • Lead all category workstreams across channels, managing stakeholders to develop and execute category-specific plans.
  • Track and drive progress across category projects, ensuring effective leadership and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: A minimum of a University Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience: Prior experience in commercial or franchise operations is beneficial.
  • Proven ability to work across different cultures and functions.
  • Leadership: Strong self-starter with exceptional leadership capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to align teams and resources towards common objectives using best-in-class methodologies.
