Job Description
The role involves overseeing, monitoring, and optimizing the daily operations of the company’s fleet, ensuring that vehicles are efficiently utilized, well-maintained, and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This includes coordinating drivers, tracking vehicle performance, reducing costs, and improving overall efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Use GPS and telematics systems to track the real-time location of fleet vehicles.
- Monitor driver behavior, route compliance, and adherence to schedules.
- Analyze fleet performance data and provide recommendations for operational improvements.
- Work closely with team members to ensure effective fleet utilization and address operational issues.
- Keep accurate records of vehicle movements, route logs, and driver activities.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and prioritize workloads.
- Familiarity with GPS and telematics systems is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and management.
- Analytical mindset to evaluate data and offer actionable insights.
