Job Description
- The fleet control supervisor will oversee and manage all fleet monitoring and control department ensuring efficiency, compliance and optimal performance.
- The role involves monitoring truck movements and utilizing smart lock and telematics systems to maintain control and security of the fleet.
- The supervisor will also lead the implementation of strategies to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor fleet operations using GPS, telematics and smart lock systems to track vehicle locations and ensure security.
- Coordinate and oversee driver routes and adherence to operational timelines.
- Analyse fleet performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve operational efficiency’.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, breakdowns and operational challenges.
- Maintain Accurate records of vehicle movements.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices for fleet control management.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and data analysis.
- Hands-on experience with GPS tracking, telematics systems and smart lock devices.
- Strong Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for optimizing fleet operations.
- Clear and effective communication skills coordinating with teams and stakeholders.
