Job Overview
The role involves contributing to the design and development of scalable software for both internal and customer-facing applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop clean, functional code for both front-end and back-end systems.
- Collaborate with the development team, product managers, and designers to ideate and implement software solutions.
- Design both client-side and server-side architectures.
- Build visually appealing front-end applications.
- Develop and manage efficient, secure, and reliable databases and applications, ensuring data integrity.
- Write and integrate APIs for seamless communication between client-side and server-side applications.
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and performance.
- Implement security best practices to safeguard applications from vulnerabilities and threats.
- Maintain and debug legacy code written by other developers.
- Troubleshoot, upgrade, and maintain existing software.
- Take responsibility for the smooth operation of all existing applications.
- Participate in code reviews, maintain technical documentation, and follow best practices for code management.
- Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience: 4-5 years of experience as a full-stack developer, software developer, or in a similar role.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in web development, cloud technologies, security, or related fields (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer, Certified Kubernetes Developer, DevOps) are a plus.
