Role Overview
We are looking for a Go-To-Market (GTM) Coordinator to drive marketing efforts, organize promotional events, generate leads, and explore innovative marketing technologies to boost brand awareness and engagement across Husk MiniGrids locations. This role presents an exciting opportunity to solve complex challenges in a rapidly growing, mission-driven company transforming rural electrification in Africa and Asia. Key Responsibilities
- Organize promotional events at mini-grid sites to raise awareness of Husk’s 24/7 electricity services and energy-efficient appliances like Freezers and LED TVs.
- Develop marketing campaigns tailored to the aspirations of rural customers in Nigeria.
- Recruit and manage a team of lead generation agents to assist the field sales team in acquiring customers for Husk mini-grids and appliances.
- Drive customer growth through effective marketing initiatives, aligning product value with customer needs.
- Work with the Management Team to communicate marketing initiatives, project metrics, and brainstorm fresh strategies.
- Create a measurement system to assess the success of marketing campaigns, evaluating them against KPIs and ROI.
- Investigate and implement new marketing technologies across digital, mobile, and omni-channel platforms to enhance customer experiences and engagement.
- Lead the execution of marketing campaigns and lead generation processes.
- Ensure alignment between all relevant teams to ensure ongoing customer acquisition and product sales.
- Support the adoption of creative technology solutions that enhance marketing efficiency, reduce costs, and increase reach.
- Prepare detailed marketing reports, analyzing campaign and sales data.
- Develop and execute short- and medium-term marketing plans to support sales and revenue goals.
- Identify gaps in existing campaigns and develop cost-effective, practical solutions within budget constraints.
- Lead the creative strategy, campaign planning, and execution, collaborating with sales and operations teams.
- Utilize analytics to achieve strategic marketing goals, adjusting strategies as needed based on data insights.
- Monitor platform engagement and assess campaign effectiveness using analytics tools.
- Track marketing ROI, optimizing content and channel investments to maximize returns.
- Test lower-cost, quicker ways to acquire, engage, and retain customers.
Qualifications
- Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in consumer marketing, with a preference for backgrounds in Retail, FMCG, Consumer Durables, Telecom, or Rural Finance.
- Proven track record of successful consumer marketing campaigns and high-impact results, demonstrated by metrics/ROI.
- Strong understanding of consumer insights and primary research methodologies, including home use testing, focus groups, surveys, and ethnographic research.
- Ability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines, with a self-starting and self-motivated attitude.
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills.
- Strong analytical abilities, capable of assessing campaign performance and ROI.
- Passion for rural development.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in Hausa is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, capable of influencing and engaging stakeholders at all levels.

- Location & Travel:
- Based in Plateau, Nigeria.
- Frequent travel within the state for site identification and scoping activities is required.
- Salary:
- Negotiable based on experience.
