About the Role:

We are seeking a results-oriented Head of Sales to lead our team, drive customer acquisition, and achieve revenue growth. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven sales track record, strong leadership skills, and experience in the logistics, freight forwarding, or ground transportation industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of field sales executives to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
  • Prepare and present sales reports and performance metrics to management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in sales leadership.
  • Must have: At least 3 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or ground transportation.
  • Demonstrated track record of business/product growth and consistently exceeding revenue targets.
  • Knowledge of import, export, port operations, shipping, and customs clearance is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical thinking and strategic problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.

Interview Process:

  1. Introductory Call with Recruiting (10 minutes)
  2. Hiring Manager Interview (45-60 minutes)
  3. Feedback within one week following the hiring manager interview.
