Role Purpose: Supply Chain Head for CEWA

The Supply Chain Head for Central and West Africa (CEWA) will be a key member of the CEWA Leadership Team and the SC Africa Middle East Leadership Team. This role leads Supply Chain strategies and operations for our Kenya and Nigeria affiliates, reporting functionally to the AME Supply Chain Director and legally to the General Manager CEWA.

Operating in a matrix structure with diverse stakeholders, the Supply Chain Head collaborates with the Regional/Global and Middle East teams to implement and execute Supply Chain strategies and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership:
  • Contribute to the development of the overall CEWA business strategy as a member of the Leadership Team.
  • Define, drive, and execute the Supply Chain strategy for CEWA to achieve objectives in quality, cost, customer service, and digitalization.
• Operational Excellence:
  • Oversee end-to-end Supply Chain processes, including demand planning, customer operations, logistics, local quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and supply chain development.
  • Identify optimization opportunities and influence stakeholders for optimal business outcomes.
• Innovation & Project Management:
  • Drive lighthouse projects for Supply Chain in CEWA.
  • Manage budgeting and oversee departmental change programs to ensure a continuous improvement agenda.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Liaise with functional stakeholders to ensure effective matrix management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and partners.
• Team Leadership:
  • Define organizational structure and capabilities to align with efficiency and business objectives.
  • Guide, coach, and develop the Supply Chain team while fostering a “One Team” mentality.

• Experience in budgeting, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
