Job Summary
The role involves planning and coordinating all maintenance activities at the packing plant to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and communication of the plant’s maintenance strategy.
- Oversee the efficient and effective implementation of the maintenance plan at the packing plant unit.
- Plan and timely order necessary spare parts for packing plant machinery based on the unit’s needs.
- Supervise engineers to ensure packing plant equipment operates with minimal downtime, meeting established performance targets.
- Coordinate with HSE personnel to ensure the provision of personal protective equipment and safety training.
- Ensure that routine and corrective maintenance on packing plant machinery is performed promptly and efficiently.
- Manage a database to track all maintenance activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head of Packing Plant.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional certification is a plus.
- A minimum of 24 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and repair skills with speed and accuracy.
- Excellent leadership and supervisory abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail.
