Job Summary
We have openings for operators skilled in handling Payloader, Dumper, Bulldozer, Excavator, Rock-breaker, Drilling Machine, Crane, and Grader equipment. The successful candidates will operate machinery and equipment in a safe and effective manner, following instructions.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate all assigned equipment safely and efficiently, in line with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on machinery.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, cleaning, lubricating, and refilling as needed or scheduled.
- Ensure that assigned equipment is securely stored.
- Participate in routine maintenance of equipment.
- Report maintenance or repair needs to the Shift Coordinator.
- Adhere to workplace safety practices.
- Ensure compliance with ISO regulations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Shift Engineer or Sectional Head.
Requirements
Education and Work Experience:
- Trade Test I in Driving Trade with 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Trade Test II in Driving Trade with 5 years of relevant work experience.
Skills and Competence:
- Valid Class H Driving License.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
- Strong teamwork abilities.
- Basic problem-solving and analysis skills.
- Creative thinking and the ability to approach problems innovatively.
- Proficiency in using office productivity tools.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
