Job Objective:

The role focuses on creating, promoting, and selling destination travel experiences, including tours and activities, while managing and implementing strategies for destination development through sales and marketing efforts.

Job Description:

  • Advise on holiday destinations for each season to optimize sales.
  • Develop and maintain a monthly and annual promotional calendar for destinations.
  • Visit destinations, hotels, and resorts to assess accommodation quality and suitability.
  • Provide regular sales reports (daily, weekly, and monthly).
  • Collaborate with tour operators, airlines, hoteliers, other DMCs, and visa facilitators.
  • Confirm customer bookings with service providers and ensure smooth operations.
  • Gather and respond to customer feedback, addressing concerns as needed.
  • Utilize market research to guide decision-making and strategy development.
  • Create destination briefs and help develop key tourist locations.
  • Provide pricing information for holiday packages.
  • Work with the marketing department to promote holiday packages through tour operators, the website, social media, and other advertising channels.
  • Project revenue and profits based on booking numbers.
  • Combine travel, accommodation, and services like sightseeing to create comprehensive holiday packages.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to design offerings aimed at growing sales and meeting targets.
  • Manage all social media interactions and customer engagement.
  • Handle B2B and B2C inquiries promptly.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English.
  • Proven ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting.
  • High potential and willingness to undergo training.
  • Quality-conscious and results-driven.
  • Proven ability to generate sales and meet targets.
