Job Description
A Housekeeping Attendant supports the Housekeeping and Laundry teams by managing guest requests, analyzing each one, and delegating tasks among team members to ensure efficient and timely completion, thereby providing an exceptional guest experience.
What Will I Be Doing?
As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will assist the Housekeeping and Laundry teams in daily operations by delegating tasks within the hotel. Your specific responsibilities include:
- Ensuring high operating standards in all areas of Housekeeping and Laundry, as per hotel brand standards.
- Monitoring the appearance, performance, and standards of Housekeeping and Laundry team members, focusing on training and teamwork.
- Providing excellent guest service.
- Working proactively with Floor Housekeeping Supervision to ensure room availability and timely releases for guest services.
- Managing various controls within the Housekeeping department, including employee schedules, master key releases, incident reports, and uniform and linen management.
- Checking guest information in CRM daily to ensure preferences and requests are met promptly.
- Arranging for flowers for special occasions (e.g., weddings, births, memorials) and providing embroidery for special linens (e.g., weddings, pampering).
- Managing monthly Lost and Found and donation processes.
- Inspecting uniforms and arranging for cleaning or repairs as needed.
- Coordinating document and people movement within the department and releasing laundry linens daily.
- Overseeing the daily release of guest laundry items.
- Handling monthly Laundry expenses and provisions.
- Replacing Laundry Attendant during holidays, time off, or absences.
What Are We Looking For?

- Previous experience in Laundry services.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with computers and software programs, including Microsoft Office (intermediate level).
