Job Summary
The Internal Auditor is responsible for evaluating and enhancing the organization’s internal controls, risk management processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This role involves conducting audits, reviewing financial and operational processes, identifying potential risks, and providing recommendations for improvements. The Internal Auditor ensures financial accuracy, strengthens internal controls, and promotes efficient, ethical operations. Additionally, they will report findings to management, track corrective actions, and may investigate fraud or misconduct.
Requirements
- A minimum of a BSc in Accounting or a related field.
- ICAN membership is a plus.
- Over 5 years of experience in auditing.
- Strong skills in investigation, internal control analysis, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in accounting principles and internal controls.
- Excellent communication skills and sound ethical judgment.
Salary & Benefits
- Monthly salary: N200,000 – N250,000.
- Paid overtime.
