About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Maintenance Manager at Remedial Health. The Maintenance Manager will oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities to ensure our facilities, equipment, and systems remain in optimal working condition. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a team, conducting analysis in order to highlight areas for improvement. and ensuring necessary utilities are working correctly. They must have strong leadership skills, technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. A proactive approach, a collaborative mindset, and exceptional organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Job Description

• Develop and implement maintenance schedules for equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure smooth operations at all our warehouses

• Supervise and lead maintenance staff across all locations to ensure timely execution of tasks and adherence to safety standards.

• Conduct regular inspections of automobilesa and equipment to identify and resolve issues proactively.

• Manage repair and replacement processes for faulty or outdated machinery and systems.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance activities.

• Oversee the procurement of maintenance supplies and parts, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, inspections, and repairs.

• Coordinate with other departments to address maintenance needs and minimize operational disruptions.

• Develop strategies for energy efficiency and cost savings in facility operations.

• Troubleshoot complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.

• Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime.

• Monitor maintenance budgets and control expenses to ensure efficiency.

• Manage relationships with external contractors across Nigeria and vendors for specialized maintenance services.

Person Specification:

• Bachelor’s Degree or in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in maintenance management of automobiles with a proven track record of managing vehicles and equipment.

• Proficiency in maintenance management systems and tools, as well as a strong understanding of safety protocols and compliance requirements.

• Proficiency with MS Office
