Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Onne, Rivers State, Nigeria

Department: Mechanical Maintenance (supporting Tenaris’ core business)

Responsibilities:

• Execute installation, mounting, repair, and start-up activities for equipment and machinery, effectively managing resources and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to quality, time, cost, and safety standards while optimizing workshop efficiency.
• Analyze and manage technical resource availability, maintaining appropriate minimum stock levels.
• Contribute to the development of maintenance information systems and utilize data to support informed decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering.
• Intermediate proficiency in English.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Strong understanding of maintenance principles and practices.
• Expertise in bearings, hydraulics, compressors, conveyors, pneumatics, auto-mechanical, auto-electrical systems, and power generators.
• Knowledge of CNC machining is a plus.
