Job Overview

The role is responsible for coordinating the activities of all departments within Ardova Plc to ensure the identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of all corporate risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and assess risks to assist Ardova Plc in making informed financial decisions.
  • Develop strategies to reduce or eliminate risks, ensuring that the company achieves its objectives and goals.
  • Collaborate with various Heads of Departments (HODs) to identify, prioritize, and manage risks.
  • Contribute to the risk management section of the annual audited financial statements.
  • Provide support for credit risk management, including assessing the creditworthiness of customers, and monitoring credit exposures, payment plans, and terms.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A postgraduate degree is a plus.
  • A professional qualification (e.g., ICAN, ACA, or FRM) is required.
  • 7-8 years of experience in a similar role, with at least 3 years in a senior position within internal audit.
