Job Purpose
Has responsibility for personnel logistics, fleet unit, provides overall responsibility for all logistics movement for employees in compliance with travel and security policy. Has in-depth knowledge of departmental policies and practices
Job Description
Takes responsibility and accountability for Safety; will not take or accept short cuts;responsibility will be taken to intervene or stop the job if required.
Recommends improvements and contributes to policy-making
Handles and oversees all travel arrangements (air, lodgings etc.) and operations
Maintains relationship with travel agencies and vendors at local level and may negotiate contracts or rates with travel service providers, if applicable
Ensures that travel needs are met within the constraints of the company travel budget and policies
Ensure compliance in all aspects of travel procedures and policies
Manages his/her own budget and maintains statistical and financial records
Handles complex or large travel requests and coordinates security escort for resident expatriates and those on rotation
Plans and effectively coordinate journey management in line with Journey Management Policy
Supervises all drivers in Lagos to ensure they comply with Journey Management Policy
Liaise with Finance to ensures all drivers have valid licenses and vehicles have their appropriate licenses as well as necessary insurance cover
Local Car Fleet management

You Are Meant For This Job If
Bachelor’s Degree
Eight years’ experience in an office environment using some advanced skills.
Knowledge of departmental function and travel regulations, terminology and procedures. Understanding policies and procedures that apply to assignments.
Good interpersonal skills for interaction
Good verbal and written communication skills, with good vocabulary, good grammatical skills and attention to detail
PC skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
