Job Description:

This position involves overseeing the daily biscuit production operations during assigned shifts, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and operational efficiency. The role requires leading, motivating, and supervising a team of production staff to ensure that activities are in line with company policies, standards, and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Shift Management:

  • Supervise and manage all production activities during assigned shifts, ensuring the smooth operation of the production line.
  • Allocate resources and manpower efficiently to meet production goals and optimize workflows.
  • Monitor equipment functionality, addressing any operational issues promptly to maintain continuous production.

Production Planning and Execution:

  • Collaborate with the Production Manager to implement daily production plans and schedules.
  • Ensure that all products meet the required quality and quantity standards.
  • Monitor production parameters to maintain quality, consistency, and efficiency throughout the shift.

Quality Assurance:

  • Work closely with the Quality Control team to identify and address any deviations in product quality.
  • Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality protocols throughout the production process.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Enforce safety procedures and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including hygiene and food safety standards.
  • Address any potential safety hazards or incidents promptly.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or MBA is required.
  • 12-15 years of experience in an FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to lead teams effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and data analysis for decision-making.
  • Ability to organize and plan tasks for the team efficiently.
  • Flexibility to respond to changing business needs and the ability to overcome challenges.
  • Problem-solving skills and strong organizational abilities to meet deadlines.
  • Experience with extraction processes and wenger machines is a plus.
