Role Overview:

The QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality of both backend and frontend systems by developing and executing thorough test strategies. The role involves collaborating closely with developers and product teams to identify, document, and resolve issues, while maintaining a strong regression test suite and an automated testing framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Strategy & Design: Create and update test plans, test cases, and regression test suites for both new and existing features.
• Manual & Automated Testing: Perform manual testing and automate repetitive tasks using tools such as Selenium or Jest.
• Bug Identification & Tracking: Work with developers to identify, document, and monitor defects until they are resolved.
• Release Management: Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and Agile workflows to ensure timely, high-quality software releases.
• Continuous Improvement: Track testing progress, analyze results, and refine testing processes and automation strategies for better coverage and efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• 5-7 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with strong expertise in both manual and automated testing.
• Proficiency in test automation tools like Selenium, Jest, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
• Experience in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and regression suites.
• Familiarity with Agile environments and knowledge of Agile/Scrum processes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of bug tracking tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
• Experience in writing and executing SQL queries for database testing and validation.
