Job Overview

As a Regional Marketing Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to drive the growth of Moniepoint in your region by promoting the adoption of its products and services, building brand preference, and positioning the company for market leadership. We are seeking a professional with strong local insights into consumer behavior and preferences, someone who can effectively communicate with diverse audiences across urban and rural areas, regardless of income or education levels, in a way that resonates culturally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Local Marketing Execution: Tailor and implement the Moniepoint local marketing plan, adapting the national strategy to meet regional needs.
  • Activation and Content Management: Lead local marketing activations and manage content to ensure alignment with growth targets.
  • Event Management: Organize or oversee Moniepoint’s presence at local events such as fairs, markets, concerts, and cultural gatherings.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various teams, including CRM, Performance Marketing, Data Analysts, Consumer Research, and Brand/Creative, to execute and evaluate marketing investments.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate closely with the sales team to provide tactical support and help acquire customers through direct sales efforts.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the local marketing budget and allocate resources efficiently.
  • Performance Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly reports on business performance and provide updates to the Marketing Director and senior management.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in consumer sales or marketing.
  • Strong business orientation and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Passionate about measuring performance, ROI-driven, and evidence-based decision-making.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize data from multiple quantitative and qualitative sources and apply insights to complex marketing challenges.
  • Experience with ATL media is a bonus.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams.
