Description
- Lead and execute strategic projects within the sales department across Nigeria/Tanzania/Zambia.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to increase market share.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the FMCG industry.
- Work closely with the sales team to drive performance and sales growth.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities in the FMCG industry.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of strategies and objectives.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the sales team.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Profile
A successful Strategic Projects Sales Director should have:
- A degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
- Proven experience in a strategic role within the FMCG industry.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive team performance.
- Excellent understanding of the FMCG industry and market dynamics.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- A strategic mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and implement change.
- 5-8 years experience in Sales (FMCG/Retail)
- 2+ years experience managing teams
- Commercial Acumen and Market/Consumer insights
- Distribution Channel / Customer Management
- E-Commence Strategy & Execution Knowledge
- E-commerce platforms and marketplaces management.
