Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Talent Acquisition Officer to collaborate with the HR Department in recruiting qualified candidates for key roles across our various African offices. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in developing recruitment standards, outlining job requirements, and utilizing networking and social media marketing to attract top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the recruiting team and Hiring Managers to define role requirements for positions across multiple African countries (Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, Egypt, Côte d’Ivoire, Tanzania, etc.).
- Manage resume databases and connect with potential candidates through various digital platforms.
- Match skilled professionals with suitable senior-level positions.
- Reach out to passive candidates through email, maintaining communication and follow-up as needed.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including accounting and legal teams, to coordinate hiring efforts.
- Suggest or implement strategies to improve recruitment processes.
- Maintain well-organized candidate databases within the organization’s ATS.
- Conduct compensation and benefits analysis for different roles and seniority levels.
- Research and compare compensation and benefits packages for various positions across Africa.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- Previous experience in roles such as Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Specialist, or Head-hunter.
- Proficiency in both online and offline sourcing methods.
- Hands-on experience with sourcing tools like LinkedIn.
- Advanced knowledge of sourcing techniques, including Boolean search.
- Familiarity with HR databases and ATS.
- Experience with report writing and data analysis.
- Background in high-volume recruitment.
- Professional HR certifications are a plus.
