Responsiilities
- Prepare and file periodic federal, state, or local tax returns (- PAYE, WHT, Corporation tax, ITF, etc) as required, by due dates to avoid penalties.
- handleall tax-related matters; tax planning; liaising with the tax consultants on issues bordering on tax queries from the tax authorities
- Advise management on the tax impact of corporate strategies and business activities/operations, and the impact of new laws on tax liabilities.
- Review such accounts monthly to ensure all postings to the general ledger are accurate.
- Daily process intercompany transactions to ensure that company books are up-to-date
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is required
- Professional qualification in Accounting or Tax e.g. ACA, ACCA, ACTI is mandatory
- MBA or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field is an advantage
- A good knowledge of the Oil and Gas Industry.

- Analytical Skills andNegotiation Skills
- SAP proficiency (MM and SD)
- Financial reporting & analysis
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (data manipulation, advanced formulas, pivot tables, vlookups, sumif etc.).
