Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Website Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of web development principles, experience with various technologies, and a talent for creating visually engaging and user-friendly websites. Your primary responsibility will be to design, code, and enhance our company’s online presence and web functionalities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, design, and maintain websites using technologies like [HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant tools].
  • Create responsive, mobile-first designs to ensure smooth website performance across different devices.
  • Work collaboratively with designers, content creators, and project managers to deliver high-quality projects on schedule.
  • Optimize website speed, performance, and scalability for a seamless user experience.
  • Implement best practices to ensure website security and protect user data.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure consistent website functionality.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, frameworks, and web technologies.
  • Integrate third-party services, APIs, and CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, and others when required.
  • Test website functionality and perform usability tests to improve user experience.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Expertise in SquareSpace.
  • Familiarity with back-end technologies like Node.js, PHP, Python, or Ruby on Rails is a plus.
  • Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and how to apply them in web development.
  • Strong knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a web developer with expertise in SquareSpace.
