Job Description

  • A Master’s degree, ideally in Supply Chain Management
  • APICS (or equivalent) certification, if the Master’s degree is not in Supply Chain Management
  • S&OP experience, preferably at Gartner maturity level 3 or 4
  • Experience in Demand and Supply Planning
  • Familiarity with working in cross-functional teams and matrix organizations
  • Project management experience, including in industrial settings
  • Program and project management experience in a cross-organizational context
  • Basic knowledge of Financial Management
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain practices within the FMCG sector

Vacancy Overview:

  • Actively contribute to the CSC strategic planning process and provide input to the OpCO Customer SC strategy
  • Develop and implement the annual plan and S&OP, aligning with the OpCO/Business Group and Corporate strategy
  • Collaborate with other Customer SCs, BG, Enterprise S&OP, and third-party suppliers to drive the execution of the S&OP process across operational and tactical horizons; organize and participate in meetings according to FrieslandCampina standards and support the financial forecasting process
  • Lead, prepare, and facilitate S&OP meetings (e.g., supply review meetings, Demand-Supply balancing meetings)
  • Balance demand and supply efficiently, optimizing for volume, revenue, costs, and margin, and develop scenarios to support decision-making
  • Provide procurement, supply points, and delivery functions with production plans aligned to service levels, inventory, production, and MVA parameters
  • Contribute to the development of the strategy for the assigned planning department and support strategy development at a higher level
  • Manage on-time and full-service delivery for the Nigerian market
  • Oversee waste performance management for the Nigerian market
  • Lead the team responsible for optimizing operational and tactical planning across the global supply network, balancing demand, inventory, production, and packaging capacity, identifying constraints and opportunities, and aligning with supply points on the supply plan
  • Manage production planning, raw materials planning, intra-supply planning, and support for FG planning
  • Oversee inventory processes and ensure alignment with projected demand (accurate DIO for RM, PM, WIP, FG)
  • Drive periodic stock modeling to maintain a robust inventory base and avoid disruptions
  • Manage and optimize working capital in line with agreed targets, replenish warehouses as needed, and monitor aging stock and obsolescence; collaborate with demand, source, and delivery teams
  • Own KPI dashboards, insights, and decision documents for quantitative and qualitative developments through periodic (e.g., S&OP, budget, Outlook, and LRP) and ad hoc reports/analyses, utilizing reporting guidelines to drive the PDCA cycle in your area of expertise
