Job Opportunity: S&OP Manager – Supply Chain

A leading integrated foods company is seeking an experienced S&OP Manager to join their Supply Chain team in Jos, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations Management: Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of business processes to optimize the production and delivery of products.
• Demand Forecasting: Develop and implement accurate demand forecasting models to guide sales and operations planning, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to maintain an optimal stock balance, preventing overstocking or stockouts.
• Integrated Business Planning: Utilize data-driven strategies to align sales, operations, and finance functions, creating a unified business plan that supports strategic objectives.
• Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP): Develop and manage the S&OP process, ensuring seamless alignment across departments to meet demand accurately.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to drive business decisions, assess performance, and optimize sales and operations processes.
• Sales Data Management: Analyze sales data to identify market trends, evaluate product performance, and forecast future growth opportunities.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term strategies to meet business objectives, aligning sales and operations with the organization’s vision and goals.
• Cross-functional Leadership: Foster collaboration across sales, operations, and other departments to ensure alignment and achievement of business targets.
• Performance Management: Monitor, evaluate, and improve sales and operations performance to achieve company goals.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• Certification in Supply Chain (CSCP or CLTD) is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in sales and operations planning.
• Strong knowledge of FMCG or similar industries, including market trends and customer relationship management.
• Expertise in demand forecasting, inventory management, and supply chain planning.
• Proficiency in using ERP/MRP systems.
