Job Overview
The primary responsibility of this role is to effectively manage stock within the designated section, overseeing all activities related to stock handling. This includes planning and managing space and capacity within the section, while ensuring inventory accuracy for all SKUs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement stacking guidelines for all SKUs in the assigned section.
- Label all SKU stacks within the section for easy identification.
- Collaborate with the procurement team on capacity planning and allocation to optimize space within the section.
- Supervise all stock movements within the section to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with warehouse policies and procedures related to stock movement (e.g., FIFO).
- Conduct daily cycle counts and perform stock reconciliation to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Generate reports on stock activities for the assigned section at the end of each shift.
- Provide the warehouse and procurement teams with reports on stock aging and movement speed.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A University Degree, Polytechnic qualification, or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience, preferably in warehousing within FMCG, production, or e-commerce industries.
- Strong communication skills with previous experience in team management.
- Goal-oriented, detail-focused, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Ability to work strategically within prescribed job guidelines.
