Job Summary
- We seek an experienced Procurement Manager with an Engineering background to oversee our client’s group’s equipment, materials, and services procurement, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement plans and strategies to meet operational needs
- Source and qualify local and international suppliers, particularly those with oil and gas industry expertise
- Negotiate contracts and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian regulations and company policies
- Manage inventory levels and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Analyze market trends to secure the best prices and terms
- Maintain accurate procurement records
- Develop and implement vendor performance evaluation criteria
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Petroleum, etc.) or a related field with a strong understanding of engineering principles and practices
- 5+ years of procurement experience, preferably in Nigeria’s oil and gas industry
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- With an engineering Background
- Familiarity with Nigerian procurement regulations and market dynamics
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Rumuneration
N1,800,000 monthly.
