Job Summary

This position is accountable for overseeing and managing the daily operations of biscuit production during designated shifts. The role ensures that production goals are achieved efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and operational effectiveness. The individual will lead, motivate, and supervise a team of production staff, ensuring all activities comply with company policies, standards, and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Shift Supervision:
  Oversee all manufacturing activities during assigned shifts, coordinating resources and manpower to meet production targets and optimize workflow. Ensure the production line operates efficiently by monitoring equipment and addressing any operational issues immediately.
• Production Planning and Execution:
  Execute daily production plans in collaboration with the Production Manager to meet set targets. Ensure all products adhere to required quality and quantity standards. Track and manage production parameters to maintain consistency and operational efficiency throughout the shift.
• Quality Control:
  Work alongside the Quality Control team to implement corrective actions for any quality discrepancies. Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality guidelines throughout production.
• Safety and Compliance:
  Enforce safety protocols to guarantee a secure working environment for all personnel. Ensure operations comply with all regulatory and internal safety policies, including hygiene and food safety standards. Address safety hazards or incidents immediately.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree or MBA is required.
• 12-15 years of experience in FMCG.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Goal-driven with an objective-focused mindset.
• Proficient in computer applications such as MS Office and SAP.
• Experience in data analysis and presenting findings for decision-making.
• Strong commitment to team leadership and development.
• Ability to learn and apply best practices.
• Strong organizational and planning skills for managing team tasks.
• Flexibility to adapt to business needs.
• Skilled in overcoming obstacles and managing tasks efficiently.
• Problem-solving capabilities.
• Hands-on experience with extraction processes, especially with Wenger machines, is a plus.
