Job Purpose
Ensure that all sites within the assigned region receive the necessary diesel supplies to maintain network availability.

Key Responsibilities

Operations:

Provide the Procurement team with data to support commercial planning for the diesel supply cycle.
Schedule diesel deliveries according to pre-established allocations and supply vendors assigned by Procurement.
Monitor and verify diesel deliveries in collaboration with regional field operations teams.
Collect delivery waybills and investigate discrepancies between planned and actual deliveries.
Assist regional operations in identifying critical diesel levels at sites to avoid network disruptions.
Collaborate with local authorities to address diesel supply and transport challenges, taking preventive measures to avoid shortages affecting network availability.
Support regional teams when intervention is needed due to vendor-related supply failures.
Prepare reports on diesel supply performance and discrepancies for management review.
Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of diesel supplies.
Proactively identify potential diesel shortages and haulage issues to prevent disruptions across sites.

General Duties:

Foster communication among team members to enhance information flow and address any potential issues.
Submit regular reports to the Senior Specialist, O&M Support regarding all aspects of the role.
Maintain strong relationships with partners and vendors.
Perform other tasks and duties as delegated by the Senior Specialist, O&M Support.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering or a related field, with over 5 years of relevant experience.
