Supply Chain and Production Planning Manager

About the Role:

This role is responsible for developing and implementing efficient supply chain and production planning strategies. You will lead performance reviews, set stock policies, manage long-range planning, oversee inventory, collaborate with procurement and logistics, analyze market trends, implement continuous improvement initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, manage intercompany orders, optimize container utilization, and manage local inventory levels. You will also track overstock, collaborate on new product launches, manage capacity, and lead planning meetings.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement supply chain and production planning strategies.
  • Lead monthly performance review meetings.
  • Set and review stock policies.
  • Manage long-range planning and capacity requirements.
  • Oversee inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams.
  • Analyze market trends and production capacity.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Manage intercompany orders and track shipments.
  • Optimize container utilization.
  • Manage local inventory and overstock.
  • Collaborate on new product launches.
  • Manage capacity utilization and production budgets.
  • Lead supply review and production planning meetings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supply chain and production planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and forecasting tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Days of Cover
  • Inventory Value vs. Net Sales
  • Inventory in Units vs. Net Sales
  • Overstock Value vs. Net Sales and Gross Inventory
  • Purchase Forecast Accuracy (>95%)
  • Production Attainment (>98%)
  • Production Adherence (>98%)
  • On Time In Full (OTIF) (>95%)
  • Net Cut (<0.5% of Net Sales)

Qualifications:

  • University degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience.
