Position Overview:
We are seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service abilities and experience with account reconciliation. While banking experience is beneficial, it is not a requirement. This role involves providing accurate and timely support to customers, resolving inquiries and issues, and ensuring a positive overall customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer prompt and professional assistance to customers through various channels, such as phone, email, and live chat. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints efficiently.
- Perform account reconciliation tasks to ensure the accuracy of customer accounts, quickly identifying and resolving discrepancies while notifying relevant parties.
- Investigate and resolve customer issues, including transaction disputes, account discrepancies, and payment errors, in a timely manner, escalating complex cases as necessary.
- Maintain precise records of customer interactions, transactions, and issue resolutions.
- Ensure customer data is handled in compliance with privacy and data protection regulations.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams such as operations, finance, and compliance to meet customer needs, enhance processes, and improve service quality.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Banking operations experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and fostering positive relationships with customers.
