Job Summary:
The Sales Engineer will play a key role in driving profitable growth by developing and executing strategies that increase market penetration with key end users. As the primary liaison for customer relationships, the Sales Engineer will leverage corporate resources to deliver comprehensive products, services, and solutions to clients. The role requires leading the alignment between the Customer Management Team and the Isolation Valves Team, establishing Emerson Isolation Valves as a trusted advisor to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve or exceed annual business goals and targets for the Nigerian market and specific accounts.
- Prepare and present growth plans, forecasts, pricing surveys, and competitor intelligence.
- Ensure alignment between Business Unit plans and account strategies, ensuring timely implementation of key initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key leaders at all levels within the product and account portfolio.
- Lead competitive displacement efforts with key end users in Nigeria.
Who You Are:
- Customer-focused with a drive for results.

- Possess business insight with strong technical expertise.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical/Instrument Engineering or a related field.
- 1-3 years of industry experience, with specific exposure to Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sectors in Nigeria.
- Strong commercial awareness and business skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate business value propositions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience in proactive selling.
- Technical knowledge of valves and the related industry.
