Job Overview
The Weighbridge Operator is responsible for managing the operation of weighbridges at both the entry and exit points, ensuring accurate weight measurements and the smooth running of terminal operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the weighbridge system to measure the weight of trucks before and after they load or unload LPG.
- Accurately record weights and maintain proper transaction documentation.
- Ensure trucks comply with required safety and weight regulations.
- Calibrate and maintain weighbridge equipment to ensure precision.
- Coordinate with loaders and dispatch teams to ensure efficient truck turnaround times.
Requirements
- Education: A Bachelor’s Degree or HND/ND in a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a weighbridge or similar equipment.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic computer literacy, and good record-keeping skills.
